Historical
Ethiopia is the only country in Africa that has been able to maintain its rich history. By visiting the numerous religious and historical monuments throughout the nation, travelers can now benefit from the ferocious patriotism of old Abyssinia. Among Ethiopia's most visited historical landmarks are the well-known Lalibela Churches, the stunning Gondar castles, and the old Axum city.
Cultural (Harar & Omo Valley)
The Omo Valley is home to several tribes within a very limited area, and it has one of Ethiopia's most well-known cultural tourism attractions. The Bodi, Hamer, Tsemay, Dassanech, Benna, Karo, Mursi, Surma, Ari, and Nyangetom are well-known, among others. The Mursi and allied Hamer tribes are the most well-known and photographed.
The Harar Wall : constructed in the early second part of the 15th century and recognized for its historical and cultural treasures, which have been designated by UNESCO as World Heritage treasures. Other attractions in Harar include the colorful open market, the fabled Hyena Man, the Harar Museum, and the Rimbaud House, named for the French author who lived there in the 1880s.
Nature Wildlife and Trekking
From the heights of the rocky Simien Mountains 4,543m , Africa's third-highest mountains, to the depths of the Danakil Depression, 120 meters below sea level and one of the lowest dry land places on Earth.
